The eco-responsible golf course of Sainte Marie
René, a golf enthusiast living in Sainte Marie since 15 years, former president and developer of the Tarbes golf course, piloted and animated the creation of the first golf course in Sainte Marie.
9 Par holes 32, located at 25 km from the hotel, this course is classified as compact 9 holes with an incomparable total distance with a 9 classic holes. Despite this probable handicap for experienced players, you can play the whole panoply of clubs. The geographical area on which it is placed will bring you an extremely playful atmosphere with a very wooded environment in the middle of tropical nature..
At present even if the course is practically developed, except for the greens which are in sand and the reception infrastructures not yet completed, you will feel an impression like that of the highlands of Scotland for example and most certainly you will leave it with an excellent global memory .
The spearfishing snorkeling
Snorkeling is allowed in Sainte Marie. You can practice it in front of the hotel, on large potatoes until 500 meters from shore.
You can also be guided and accompanied by local divers, on unique hunting sites visited only by locals : the wreck of the Cocoteraie, Blue Bay, the grouper wall, the big pass of the reef of Ampanihy, and so many others !
